v0.27.0: Customer locations get a name

Since v0.19.0, a customer can have several locations, each with its own travel distance. In time tracking you pick one from a Location dropdown, and until now that dropdown showed each location’s address. That works, but "Head office" or "Data centre Amsterdam" is easier to spot than a street name.

A name for every location

Locations have a new Name field. Set it on the customer’s Locations tab. It’s a short label, and it’s what every time-tracking Location dropdown now shows:

  • the weekly grid’s add-row and edit-row forms

  • the per-cell distance popup

  • the macro editor’s location pickers

  • the calendar view’s entry modal

The name is optional. A location without one still shows its address, as before. Location lists are also sorted by name now, so the dropdowns come out alphabetical.

See the Customers section of the User Guide for more on locations.
