v0.35.0: Copy a whole day in the calendar
Until now the calendar view could copy one entry at a time. If this Thursday looks just like last Monday, that meant copying and pasting each block separately. v0.35.0 lets you take the whole day along at once.
Selecting
Ctrl+click a block (β on macOS, Shift works too) to add it to the selection, or remove it. From the keyboard, tab to a block and press Ctrl+Space.
Click a day header to select all entries of that day; Ctrl+click a header to add a day to whatβs already selected.
A bar above the calendar shows how many entries are selected, with Copy, Delete, and Clear selection. Ctrl+C copies the selection and Esc clears it. Right-clicking a selected block gives the same choices for the whole selection, and deleting asks for confirmation just once.
Pasting
Right-click an empty slot and there are two choices:
Paste β the earliest copied entry starts at the time you clicked, and the rest keep their distance to it. Copy Monday 09:00β12:00 and 13:00β17:00, paste at 10:00 on Thursday, and you get 10:00β13:00 and 14:00β18:00.
Paste at original times β only the date changes, so the day lands on its new date with the same times. This one is also on the right-click menu of a day header.
The copied entries stay available when you switch weeks, so copying a day into next week is: select the day, Ctrl+C, go to next week, right-click the day header, Paste at original times.
Fixed
With the app zoomed in or out, the calendarβs right-click menu opened further away from the mouse the lower you clicked, and could end up out of view. It now opens where you click and stays inside the window.
Esc closes the right-click menu wherever the keyboard focus is.
The Customer, Project, and Location dropdowns in the calendar entry form are sorted alphabetically.
See the Calendar view section of the User Guide for more.
